Aims and Scope

Algerian Journal of Natural Sciences (AJNS) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of natural sciences.

The journal presents scientific reports dealing with the basic natural sciences. Natural science can be broken into two main branches: life science (or biological science) and physical science. Physical science is further broken down into branches, including physics, astronomy, chemistry, and Earth science. All of these branches of natural science are divided into many further specialized branches (also known as fields), and each of these is known as a "natural science". Studies of subcellular and cellular systems derived from both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell types are also included. Studies of toxic, the composition, structure, properties and change of matter.

The journal publishes papers describing original research results, reviews, announcements of scientific meetings or courses, and availability of funding, fellowships, and scholarships.

The journal also welcomes articles in form of hypothesis; a place of communicating interesting and important theoretical papers that foster the diversity and debate upon which the scientific process thrives.
In addition to studies relating to food, water and other consumer products, papers on industrial and agricultural chemicals and pharmaceuticals are encouraged.

Furthermore, new areas such as eco-toxicology and inter-relationships between nutrition and toxicology, hydrogeology, chemistry are welcomed. Papers reporting the toxicological examination of specific chemicals or consumer products are published irrespective of the positive or negative nature of the results, provided the tests and reporting meet current standards of adequacy. The Journal's editorial policy reflects the need for high-quality science in support of health and safety decisions.
The journal is willing to consider papers of a more regulatory nature, provided they are part of a more general scientific analysis.
