The Ninth National Forum on Reformist Thought in Algeria
The Sheikh Al-Arbi Tebessi Cultural Society of Tébessa, in coordination with the Sheikh Al-Arbi Tebessi University of Tébessa, shall host the Ninth Forum for Reformist Thought in Algeria.
In commemoration of the 67th anniversary of the martyrdom of the great scholar Sheikh Al-Arbi Tebessi, the forum will be held from May 25th to 26th, 2024.
The theme of the forum is “The Reformist Movement in Algeria and the Liberation Revolution.”
The forum panels include:
- The role of the reformist movement in the Liberation Revolution.
- Features of the reformists’ call through their testimonies, writings, and documents.
- The revolutionary aspects of the insurgent preacher Sheikh Al-Arbi Tebessi.
Scholars and researchers wishing to participate are invited to submit their papers by May 10th, 2024 through the following link: https://forms.gle/WWTDRwXAPHMHDaQs6.
The Society shall cover transportation and accommodation costs for the duration of the forum.
University students, members of national and cultural organizations, and others interested may also partake in the forum activities, for which the Society shall provide lodging and meals only.
